No records on a server doesn't entirely mean that it's not on the server. Stuff could be deleted.

Nothing goes up on the Sefira network without months of strict testing. It would be impossible for anything as incomplete and dangerous as the midnight world is rumoured to be to get onto the system.

While it's possible, it's highly unlikely. Attempting to connect an unlicensed server to the network is a very serious crime - fraud, tampering, intent to endanger the public, potentially intent to steal personal information. If you believe that someone has done this, please inform the police.

Well, I don't know what it was. But I logged in to an almost empty server, and then I couldn't log out again until I'd beaten a game.

There were some other people, too, and one of them called it the Midnight World. I just believed him because he seemed to know more about it than anybody else.

Most people who seem to know more about a subject than anyone else, either don't know, or are lying. Always at least try and get verifiable information from a secondary source.
